Jaimee Coombes is setting up “Bugs Lifeline“ in memory of her 10 month old daughter Liberty, who died suddenly on 23rd August 2017. Eventually the cause of death was put down to Sudden Unexpected Death Syndrome.
The aims of Bugs Lifeline are to deliver emergency awareness courses to families which will cover:
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- AED training
- Choking
- Febrile convulsions
- Raise awareness of SIDS and SUDS
Training will be delivered by certified first aid trainers who are kindly giving up their own time for Bugs Lifeline. CVS have been a help to Jaimee, they have applied for funding to purchase five monitors which detect when a child stops breathing.
