Home Visits

If a home visit is required, please make your request between 8.30am and 10.30am. Details will be then given to the duty doctor, who will then contact you by telephone.

Please do not request a home visit unless you or the patient are too ill to come to the practice. Remember, a doctor can see five patients at the surgery in the time it takes to attend one home visit. Please use the service responsibly.

In the event of a life threatening emergency, such as severe chest pain, extreme shortness of breath or collapse dial 999 to call an ambulance immediately.

New Patient Appointments

All new patients on medication are required to attend the surgery as soon as possible after registration to ensure your medications are kept accurate and up-to-date.  Please make an appointment to see Alison Wood, Advanced Nurse Practitioner.   This appointment will also ensure that you are informed of our prescription ordering processes.

PLEASE NOTE: It may be necessary to make important amendments to your medications at this time; based upon the latest recommendations according to clinical effectiveness, safety and cost-effectiveness.

Please bring a copy of your repeat prescription and/or all of the boxes/packaging for your medications. A fresh urine sample is also required for all adults; please bring this in with you to the appointment.

If you are not on any medication you will NOT need to book an appointment for a New Patient Medical but will need to fill in a medical questionnaire, which we will scan onto your records?
